Playroom window mistreatment

Long, long time ago my sis and I bought some fabric for my playroom windows. I kept meaning for my sewing sis Beth to make me curtains but with all the busyness of life (both mine and hers), playroom curtains weren't that important.

After seeing the Nester's mistreatment's and all her talk of tearing fabric, glue guns, upholstery tacks and rings I decided one afternoon to try my own mistreatment. Surprisingly it was all over in about 3o minutes and voila, I had playroom curtains!

Yep, they would look better with some trim but that will happen in another year or so. For now I'm just glad the fabric is no longer languishing in the basement. ;)

They look great! I love the colored blocks on the floor as well! Very kid-friendly! I have fabric to start some mistreatments of my own but just didn't finish in time for the fun.
