Another thrifted picture makeover

Here we have another thrifted picture. It was filthy, with a hideous gold speckled fake wood frame and just overall ugly.

Ignore the $4.00 price tag. I only paid $ .50.

Before:

During:
Took everything apart and painted the navy mat and gold frame black:

Cut a piece of scrapbook paper to cover the picture:

With the last addition of our initial, I put it all back together.
Makeover complete in just a couple of hours, most of which was drying time.

I love what you did with that picture! The color of my kitchen is Svelte Sage. It's a green. It does have some gray hues to it, smile. I love this color! It has been the longest standing color in my house now. I have had it for about 5 years now and Im still loving it! Thanks, Susie H

I love all your finds! Those redone prints are great with the initals and scrapbook paper. Genius! I love what you can do for so little these days.

The pink bed is just precious! Gorgeous finds. So nice to meet you & thanks for joining the party!

What a great idea. I never envision these things when I see an ugly picture while thrifting. Thanks for the inspiration!
