Who me? A procrastinator???

Yep, that's me. I need a deadline to get anything done. Not one of my favorite qualities.

I haven't had curtains in my living room since we moved in. :) So you're thinking we moved in 6 mo ago, right? YEAH....right. Try 10+ years ago. Honestly, I haven't really wanted curtains until recently because that would just be one more dust catcher and I hadn't heard of the Nester until a year ago or so.

Now I am ready. Ready but just haven't done it. So here's my statement of intent to curtainize (sure it's a word) these windows for the Procrastinators Party over at the Inspired Room on the 20th.
I know you all will be waiting with bated breath to see my curtain mistreatments. Come to think of it...I will be too. :)

Curtains are just one step in the long (seemingly never-ending) process of re-doing the living room. Hopefully once I get the curtains up I will be on a roll and get the rest done quickly! One can always hope....

FYI ... Hancocks Fabric has their Home Decor fabric 50% off this Sunday and Monday so if you've been eyeballling some fabric, now might be the time to snatch it up!

Yes, dear one, I do believe it is time to curtainize the windows...even some toppers for a start...some bloggers are using burlap, others are using painters drop cloth, so what is going to be your choice for this transformation?

So let us know (and see) what you have selected.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I did the painters drop cloth drapery for a shower curtain and like it a lot! Now I am looking for a linen-like fabric to back a drop cloth drape in the great room. I want to make them reversible.
I am looking forward to your transformation! Great tip on Hancock's, THANKS! Good LucK!!

Oh you have SO affirmed me in my own procrastination!!! Once we had a HOLE in our family room ceiling for 5 years.

Once we had our bathroom all torn up mid-remodeling for 5 years.

I have to FORCE myself to pay bills - - - I can put that off FAR too long.

And we won't even TALK about cleaning house - - -

OK, I HOPE I've affirmed you in YOUR procrastination now too.

:-)

To quote the wise and wonderful Red Green: "We're all in this together."

Thanks for your return visit to MY place!!! I HOPE you took the cup of coffee I had out for you.
;-)

My header photo was taken by me at our vacation lake in the northwoods of Wisconsin - - - it is a place I treasure in my heart when my feet cannot stand on the shore.

I can't wait to see them! I happen to be procrastinating on more than one room of curtains. So much to do so little time!

I like that word curtanize! Can't wait to see what you whip up!

Good luck in my book give away. This Miserly Moms is totally revised (I still have the old one). She really updated it and it's like a new book - well worth getting if you don't win!

Thanks for a little motivation and for making me feel better all at the same time! =) I haven't put up curtains in my living room either, but it's only been 3 years. Hopefully I'll get to it sometime soon. Now I should start making decisions. =)

Can't wait to see your curtains!!!
