I Must Go Down to the Sea Again

As summer starts to fade away (at least for some of you)we interrupt the laundry room posting to bring you this fabulous post from Cindy at My Romantic Home. I just really love this wreath of shells. It seems all over blogland, we are all gearing up for back to school and fall. Even though I am all for all of this fall love, this wreath was just a breath of fresh air on this muggy 90 degree day here in GA. Can't you just smell the salt in the air and feel the sand under your feet and see the colors of the sea.

Oh, sorry. I drifted off for a minute. I only smell spray paint, and see all of the dust and dirt that just came out from under my washer and dryer, because of my spiff up the laundry room project. But it was a nice dream while it lasted.

Even if you are ready for the fall, go and gather your shells. At the very least you will have a beauty of a wreath to hang when summer comes around again.

Breathe deep girls, and dream of the sea.

  1. WOW...I LOVE that seashell wreath!! It is beautiful....thanks for letting us know since she has a tutorial about making it. I have seashells in a metal container and a wreath like that would look lovely in the room with that.

Oh, I would be scared to see what might be lurking under my washer and dryer...lol

  3. I like the wreath. I always think that I should live by the ocean to use them in my house. How dumb is that. Anyways. Thanks for helping me out with my trinket dilemma.

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog Victoria! I would never return something that I had used, painted etc, unless it just did not work like it was supposed to. LOL!

Love y'all's blog! Very nice. I am going to 'copy' that chalk board "love to hear you play" frame for DD's motivation. She is working on Ode to Joy. I love it! Wish I had a laundry room. I have a closet/pantry in my kitchen... It works, has to. ;-)

  6. Thanks for the visit to my blog. I'm sure your laundry room will turn out cute. I for one am not ready for fall even though it is one of my favorite seasons. Our winter was way too LONG and I feel we got cheated out of a summer. I HATE winter. I need to fly south lol

  9. My laundry room is a work in progress, too. It doesn't help that my laundry room also is my powder room. An odd combo, but I'm just glad my w/d are inside the house--it is common in this area for them to be in the garage.
