Frosty the Snowman
This weekend my in-laws took my 3 year old to their cabin in the N Ga mountains for a weekend trip. My husband and I were left here to remember what life was like before we had a child. Friday we shopped, ate out twice and watched a movie. Sat we slept in, then puttered around the house cleaning and tweaking the Christmas decorations. It was wonderful!
Last year I had foot surgery in Nov so the Christmas decorations around our house were minimal. This year I debated on pulling out my collection of Mitford snowmen that I have had for 10 years or so. I only pulled out the cookie jar and Sweet Girl saw him and LOVED him! She thanked me for pulling him out! Needless to say, while she was gone this weekend I pulled out more of his buddies.
I'm thinking she will be pretty happy when she sees all of them and that makes me pretty happy myself.

I am sure Sweet Girl will be happy to see all the snowmen....I was and I am an old lady.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Your snowmen are too CUTE!! You definitely need to pull ALL of them out! I LOVE snowmen!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your snowmen! I just love any Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeleteSo cute I just love snowmen!
ReplyDeleteAll of your snowmen are great. I collect snowmen as well but mine dont' get released from the rubbermaid bins until after Christmas. Living in Western New York snow and ice season last well into March and after the lush decorations of Christmas disapear my snowmen fill in until Mid Februaury.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,

I just got to get something Christmasy going on around here. Your snowmen are cute and I loved your Christmas greenery. I plan to put something together similar this week. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI love your snowmen! So dang cute! What a fun weekend. I love it when the kids are gone sometime and I can have a little break!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear how she reacted when she saw all the snowmen! I know how she might react to that santa coffee mug though (AAaaaahhhh!!!!!!)
ReplyDeleteI think the right side won the debate on whether to pull them out. They are just fab-u-lous as is the way you displayed them. I had forgotten about the bucket "hats."
ReplyDeleteIt tickles me to imagine how sweet girl will react.
I love all your snowmen and decorations. The nice thing about the snowmen is you can keep them out after Christmas if you want to.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I would go to all the trouble I do to decorate but the grandchildren just get so excited when the come over.

I know she will and I know you miss her. See you guys soon.
ReplyDeleteOhhh girl you have Mr. Bucket Head!!!! Oh my word I am gonna cry..when my 10 yr old grandson was just learning to walk he had a plastic bucket (sand pail) that he would wear on his little head while he played with toys...I have pics of him like this..but it was the cutest thing..he would always have to have that bucket on his head while he played...so that year at Christmas I saw this cookie jar snowman in the Hallmark Store and I squealed "MR Bucket Head!" I bought him for my grandson as a reminder of his little funny habit and he still has it to this day...oh how precious...thanks so much for that memory girl...I am sure your sweet girl loves her's just as much! Thanks for coming by and please come back anytime!
ReplyDeleteLove all the snowmen! They all have such cute smiles and just make you feel cheerful!
